Quarantine Police Curfew To Be Imposed In Another Four Police Divisions In Colombo

 Quarantine Police Curfew will be imposed in another four police divisions at Colombo District from 6 p.m this evening (25) until further notice according to National Covid -19 Prevention Center .

Accordingly Quarantine curfew will be imposed in Fort ,Pettah ,Borella  and Welikada police divisions from this evening to prevent the spreading of Corona virus in these areas .


,,368 Corona Positives Had Been Reported Yesterday (24)

 A total of 368 Corona Positives Had Been Reported in the country yesterday (25) increasing the total number of Corona Positives to 7521 according to Epidemiology Unit .


Out of these positives 232 were related to Paliyagoda Fish Market and others were close contacts of Paliyagoda fish. Market Corona cluster and Minuwangoda Brsndix clusters it had been revealed .

Majority of the Corona positives r that were reported yesterday were reported from Ginsdinhapura (77)in Pettah (Colombo .

At the moment 3792 Corona Positives are being treated at Government hospitals .

15 Th Corona Death Had Been Reported

 A 56 year old male resident of Uraliya ,KithalawA area in Kuliyapitiya (North Western Province )had died on Saturday morning (24)whilst receiving  treatment at IIntensive Care Unit (ICU)of the Kuliyapitiya Teaching Hospital it has been reported .


The deceased who had been admitted to the Kuliyapitiya hospital on 14 th of October due to a Heart problem has been transferred to hospital ICU on 16 th of October and died on Saturday morning due to the complications of his illness caused due to the Corona virus Doctors had stated .

This is the 15 th Corona death reported in Sri Lanka .The cremation of the Corona positive had been taken place In Kuliyapitiya on Saturday evening .
