Two Star Hotels In Colombo Stopped Their Operations Due To A Corona Positive Employee-A Corona positive Identified From Another Hotel Also

 Two star hotels in Colombo ,The Hilton and Gall Face hotels had been temporarily shut down since Friday (23) after detecting a Corona positive in one of the hotels it had been announced .

These hotels had stopped all their operations according to the advise of area public Health Inspector .

Meanwhile  An employee attached to five star Hotel Shangri la had been identified as a Corona positive the hotel had   confirmed today (24).

However the operations of the hotel which is also being used as a quarantine center are still not suspended although the area Public Health officer had advised the Hotel msnagement to do so.

Valachchanai Police Division Was Declared As An Isolated Area

 Health Authorities have declared the Valachchanai Police Division  area in North as an isolated area: with immediate effect the National Covid -19 Prevention Center has stated. today (24).

Accordingly no one can enter or leave the Police Divisional area until further notice .

This step had been taken to prevent the spreading of Corona virus in the area it has been announced .

A total of 11 Corona positives had been reported in the area today .

Quarantine Police Curfew Imposed In Another Five Police Divisions

 The quarantine Police Curfew has been imposed in another five police divisions in Colombo District this evening (24)according to the National Covid-19 Prevention Center .

Accordingly Quarantine Police Curfew has been imposed in Maligawatte ,Keselwatte ,Dam street,Aduruppu Street and Coastal police areas until further notice to prevent the spreading of Corona virus the Center stated .

Quarantine Curfew Imposed. in Mulleriyawa And Gothatuwa

 Health Authorities. Had imposed a Quarantine Cufew in Gothatuwa and Mulledityawa areas in Colombo  from 7 p.m  today (23)i until  further  notice   virus  to prevent the spreading of Corona virus in these areas .

Public in these areas are being   urged to  stay at home during the curfew period  the National  Covid -19  prevention center has announced .

Five Villages In Kalutara Had Been Isolated

 Health authorities had yesterday (23) isolated five villages in Walallawita

Divisional Secretariet at Kalutara District due to the surge of Corona cases according to the National Covid _19 prevention Center .

Accordingly Gulavita North ,Gulawita south ,Magurumaswita ,Mskalandawa and VedaWatte villages are being isolated .
