110 Corona Positives Had Been Reported Yesterday (16)

 A total of 110 Corona positives had been reported yesterday (16) increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so fat to 5354 according to Epidemiology Unit .

Accordingly Majority of these Corona positives are members of Brandix Corona Cluster at Brandix Apparel Factory in Minuwangoda and their close contacts  .There were few Corona positives  reported from various areas including Raddolugama Housing scheme ,Moratuwa ,Polonnaruwa Hospital ,Dehiwala and  Rathmalana during last 24 hours the Unit has stated .

At the moment the total number of  Corona positives reported from the Brandix cluster had been increased to 1901 and out of them 1041 were employees attached to the Brandix factory at Minuwangoda and 860 were their close associates .

Around 1956 Corona positives are being treated at Government hospitals at present .

Health Ministry Has Issued the Gazette Notification Containing Anti Corona Health Guidelines Today (22daa)

Health Ministry has today (15) issued the Gazette Notification containing   Anti Corona Health guidelines which is scheduled  to be implemented and penalized .

Health Minister Pavithra  Wanniarachchi had today signed the Gazette Notification and later the Government Printer has issued the Gazette it has been revealed .

Under this Gazette Notification a legal action will be taken against those who had deny to follow Anti Corona health guidelines including wearing a Mask in public places /public transport, maintains a one meter distance among them and Washing hands before entering  premises . 

Accordingly those who have violated  the regulations of Gazette Notification  he or she ah will be sentenced to six month imprisonment  or fined Rs.10,000).

29 Corona Positives Had Been Discharged From Hospitals Today (14))

 A total of 29 Corona positives had been discharged from Government  hospitals today (14)after full recovery according to Epidemeology Unit.   

These Corona positives had been discharged from Infectious Diseases Hospital at Angoda and Welikanda Base ,Laggala and Iranawila Hospitals. 

Accordingly 3357 Coroa positives had been discharged from hospitals so far after full recovery.
