Veteran Comic Actor Of Sinhala Cinema Late Tennyson Coorey Was Laid To Rest

 The funeral of  veteran Comic Actor in Sinhala Cinema late  Tennyson Coorey who  died whilst receiving treatment at Colombo National Hospital  was held this evening (01)at Moratumulla with the participation of several local Artists and fans.

The body of the Late actor was taken to Moratumulla church for religious activities from his residence at villorawatte ,Moratuwa before laying to rest at the cometary.

Unfortunately public and officials are again and again fail  to follow Anti corona health guidelines including wearing masks and keeping distance at funerals amidst corona epidemic and this was another instance of it .

May the  soul of late actor  rest in peace .

Two Corona Positives Had Been Reported today (01)

 Two Corona Positives had been identified in the country today (01) according to Epidemiology unit .

 Accordingly two arrivals from Oman had tested positive for Corona Virus today whilst under quarantine at quarantine centers the unit has stated .

The total number of Corona Positives identified in the country so far is 3382 .

Three Corona Positives Had Been Discharged From Hospitals Today (01)

 A total of 03 Corona Positives had been discharged from Government hospitals today (01) after full
recovery ,increasing the total number of Corona Positives discharged from hospitals so far to 3233 according to Epidemiology Unit .

At the moment 136 Corona Positives are being treated in Government Hospitals .
