No Corona Positives Discharged From Hospitals Today (30)

No Corona positives  had been
discharged from hospitals today (30)according to the Epidemeology Unit.

Up to now 3230 Corona positives had been discharged from hospitals  lafter full recovery the unit has stated .

At the moment 137 Corona positives are being treated at Government Hospitals. 

A Female Was Killed Due To A Wild Elephant Attack

A 72 Year Old female was killed due to a
Wild Elephant attack at Darshana pura,Madirigiriya  (Polonnaruwa District )in wee hours of this morning (30)it has been reported.

The deceased who was a resident of Darshanapura area were attacked by a Wild Elephant whilst travelling to her house from her daughters house near by  .

The body of the deceased had been sent to Madirigiriya Base Hospital.

The Owner Of The Five Storied Building In Kandy Which Collapsed Last Week Killing An Infant Girl And Her Parents ,Had Been Arrested And Remanded

Kandy Police had today (29)arrested the
owner of the  five storied  illegal building which had  fallen on to a house and a  hotel at Sangamiththa Road in Buwelikada ,Kandy killing one and half month old infant girl and her parents ,last week .

The suspect who was the former Basnayaka Nilame of Natha Devalaya, Kandy, Anura Lewke was remanded  until 13 th of October by the Kandy Magistrate Court after he had been  produced before the court by Kandy Police .

Kandy Police had requested the suspect who was charged over fleeing from the collapsed five storied building with his family without informing other residents on the incident ,to appear before Police today and later he was arrested it has Been revealed.

Kandy Police are investigating over the incident.
