Customs Narcotic Officials Yesterday (20) Taken In To Custody Three Parcels Sent From USA Containing Cannabis Variety "Kush "
Officers attached to the Anti Narcotic
Bureau of Sri Lanka Customs had yesterday(20) taken into custody three parcels containing Cannabis variety "Kush "sent to the Parcel section at the Katunayake International Airport in Colombo from United States .
The stock of narcotics sent on forms of a Mobile phone and a Biscuit pack on the pretext of Disinfectants had taken in to custody after no one came to clear the parcel according to Anti Narcotic Bureau of Customs.
The estimated value of the stock of narcotics taken in to custody is around Rs. 2.2 million it has been revealed.
The Narcotics parcels had been recovered according to an information provided by intelligence officers of the Customs Anti Narcotic Bureau.
The parcels were handed over to Police Anti Narcotic Bureau for further investigations.

Two Groups Of Sri Lankans Stranded At Thailand And Qatar Brought Back To Sri Lanka
Two groups of Sri Lankans stranded at
Thailand and Qatar due to the Corona pandamic had been brought back to Sri Lanka this morning (21) by Qatar Airways and Sri Lankan Airlines flights.
Accordingly 88 Sri Lankans stranded at Bangkok ,Thailand and 47 Sri Lankans stranded at Doha ,Qatar had been brought back to Sri Lanka this morning.
"PCR "tests had performed on these Sri Lankans and cabin crew at the Katunayake International Airport and later they have been transported to nearby hotels Until receiving their test results.
