A special Police team attached to Mount

Lavinia Police had arrested a person with 12 Kilo Grammes of  An artificial Narcotic "Mandy " in his possession at Sea road in AmbalanGoda(Southern Province ) yesterday  (15).

The value of the  stock of artificial Narcotic taken in to custody is around Rs.200 million according to Police. The stock had been smuggled to Sri Lanka via sea route. 

Eight Corona Positives Had Been Discharged From Hospitals Yesterday (15)

 A total of 08 Corona positives had been

discharged from hospitals  yesterday  (15) after full recovery according to the Epidemeology Unit .

Accordingly the total number of Corona positives discharged from hospitals had risen to 2666 the Unit has stated . 

Four Corona Positives Had Been Reported Yesterday (15)

A total of 04 Corona positives had been

reported in the country yesterday (15),increasing the total number of Corona positives reported from the country to 2890 according to Epidemeology Unit.

Accordingly 02 arrivals from Maldives and 01 arrival each from Turkey and United Arab Emirates had tested positive for Corona virus yesterday (15).

At the moment 213 Corona positives are being treated at Government Hospitals.
