All Schools To Be Closed During Next Week Due To Election
All the Schools in the island are
scheduled to be closed down next week due to the Parliamentary elections on 05 th of August according to Ministry of Education.
As most of the schools are being used as voting and counting Centers of the Election and Teachers are involved in election duties, Schools are close down next week the Ministry has stated . Next Momday (03)is a poya holiday here .
All the schools in the island from Grade 01 to 13 will be opened from 10 th of August Minister has announced. Teachers and non academic staff of All schools are being requested to report to duty on 10th of August .
However schools with over 200 students will be commenced educational activities in different times with limited number of students attending classes at once according to Corona Control Health guidelines .
Earlier All schools had been commenced their educational activities for Grades 11,12 and 13 from last Monday (27) after closing in March due to the Corona pandamic .

No Corona Positives Had Been Identified Today (29)
No Corona postives had been identified
in the country today (29)so far according to the "PCR "tests that had been conducted the Epidemeology Unit has been stated .
Accordingly the total number of Corona positives reported so far remains at 2810.
Meanwhile the Repatriation of Sri Lankans who are stranded in foreign countries due to the Corona pandamic which was suspended temporarily recently, is scheduled to re commence this Friday (31).

21 Corona Positives Had Been Discharged From.Hospitals Today (29) After Recovery
A total of 21 Corona positives had been
discharged from hospitals today (29)after full recovery according to the Epidemeology Unit .
Accordingly the total number of Corona positives discharged from hospitals so far had risen to 2317 .
At the moment 482 Corona positives and 80 suspected cases are being treated in Government Hospitals.
