A Bogus Indian Doctor Was Arrested When Attempting To Enter Wathupitiiwala Hospital
A 29 year old Bogus Indian doctor who
attempted to enter the female ward at Wathupotiwala Base Hospital in Gampaha had been arrested by the Hospital Police yesterday (26).
The suspect who is married to a female at Thihariya in Durga town has been later handed over to the Nittambuwa Police and was remanded until 04 th of August after been produced before the court yesterday .
The suspected Bogus doctor carried few medical equipment including a stethoscope and Syringer however found as Bogus doctor when a doctor attached to the Wathupotiwala Hospital had questioned hin over suspicion it has been revealed.

Twelve Corona Positives Had Been Reported Yesterday (26)
A total of 12 Corona positives had been
reported yesterday (26) in the country ,Increasing the total number of Corona positives reported from the country so far to 2782 according to Epidemeology Unit.
Accordingly out of the 12 Corona positives reported yesterday ,05 were inmates of the Senapura Drug Rehabilitation Center, 04 were arivals from Qatar under quarantine in quarantine Centers and 03 were close contacts of the Corona positives identified in Kandakadu Drug Rehabilitation Center.
At the moment 665 Corona positives are being treated at Government Hospitals.

A Close Associate Of Drug Kingpin Makandure Madush Was Arrested With A Haul Of Heroin In Keselwatte
Keselwatte Police had yesterday
(26)arrested a 32 year old close associate of a local drug kingpin Makandure Madush who is in jail, known as "Kota Tharanga " allias Tharanga Kumara with 05 Grammes and 230 Mili Grammes of Heroin in his possesion at Beira Lake area in Keselwatte (Colombo )during a raid carried out there.
"Kota Tharanga " who is a resident of Colombo -12 had several charges against him over criminal activities in the past including a case against sexually assaulting a 14 year old girl at Borella in 2010 and under open arrest warrant issued by the court .
The suspect who is a wanted criminal has been produced before the Maligakanda Magistrate Court yesterday.

Sri Lanka is scheduled to resume the
repatriation of Sri Lankans living and employed abroad who are stranded due to corona pandamic from next week according to Army Commander General Shavendra Silva.
The repatriation of Sri Lankans abroad had been temporarily halted from 14 th of July due to the over crowding in quarantine Centers.
