Sixteen Corona positives had been

discharged from hospitals today (22)after full recovery according to Epidemeology Unit

Accordingly the total number of Corona positives discharged from hospitals after recovery so far had been increased to 2064 .

A total of 22 Corona positives had been

reported in the country today (22),Increasing the total number of Corona positives reported from the country to 2752 according to Epidemeology Unit .

Accordingly out of the first 15 Corona positives reported today ,14 were arrivals from Saudi Arabia who are under quarantine at  quarantine Centers and one positive is a close contact of a member of Kandakadu Corona cluster ,Who is under quarantine at a Quarantine Center in Norochchalai  it has been reported .

At the moment 677 Corona positives are being treated at Government Hospitals.

No Corona Positives Reported Yesterday (21) Although 2158 "PCR "Tests Performed

Out of the 2158 "PCR " tests performed

yesterday  (21) in the country no one had been tested positive for the Corona Virus according to the Epidemeology Unit .

Accordingly the total number of Corona positives reported in the country so far remains as 2730 .At the moment 671 Corona positives and 94 Suspected cases are being treated at Government Hospitals. 

Sixty Five Contacts Of A Srudent Tested Positive For Corona Virus In Homagama Are Being Quarantined At Their Houses

A total of 65 persons who had been

identified as close contacts of a srudent who had tested positive for Corona virus recently as a close contact of a Corona positive in Kandakadu Corona cluster ,are being quarantined at their houses in Kahatuduwa   ,Homagama(Colombo) yesterday  (21) according to Homagama MOH Office.

Those who are under quarantine in their houses at Homagama   were performed "PCR "tests yesterday to check their corona status  it has been reported .Amongst the 65 persons who are being subjected to quarantine are students and their teachers of a Tution class at Piliyandala attended by the Corona positive student in Kahatuduwa area.

Three persons  including two students at Kahatuduwa area  ,Homagama  had  tested positive for the Corona Virus recently as a close contacts of the member of Kandakadu Corona cluster.

A Physics Teacher Of A Gampaha School Tested Positive For Corona Virus -154 Of His Close contacts Are Being

After a physics teacher attached to

Sirikurusa collage in Gampaha who is a close contact of a Corona positive attached to Kandakadu Drug Rehabilitation Center Corona cluster, had tested positive for Corona virus ,154 of his close contacts are being quarantined according to the  Gampaha MOH Office .

However all the 154 close contacts of the Corona positive teacher including school children and teachers of his school and Tution classes had tested negative for  Corona virus .

The Physics teacher who had got the virus from a Corona positive relation of him who had visited the Kandakadu  Drug Rehabilitation Center had been sent to IDH Hospital in Angoda for treatment.

He had not only attended school but also had conducted Tution classes for high school students
