Second Corona Positive Identified At Welikada Prison Today (10);Is Working As A Barbar At The Prison
The second Corona positive identified
at Welikada Prison in Colombo today (10)is working as a Barbar at the prison it has been revealed.
After showing Corona infection symptoms he had undergone a "PCR "Test to check his corona status last Wednesday (08) and admitted to the prisons Hospital. Afterwards.
According to the test results issued today he was confirmed as a corona positive. The victim had stayed at the same prison cell where the rehabilitated prison inmates sent from Kandakadu Drug Rehabitation Center Were stayed .
The victim had done hair cuts as a Barbar for several inmates in several.wards of the prison Hospital it has been reported.
Meanwhile prison Authorities had suspended outsiders from visiting all prisons in the island with immediate effect after identifying the first Corona positive Prison inmate at Welikada Prison.

Only a single Corona postive had been
recovered and discharged from hospital today (10) according to the Epidemeology Unit .

297 Corona Positives Reported Today (10)Due To The Kandakadu Corona Cluster
A total of 297 Corona positives the
highest number Corona positives ever reported in the country in a single day, has been reported today (10 ) until 10
P.m according to the Epidemeology Unit.
Accordingly the total number of Corona positives reported in the country so far has been increased to 2451 the unit has stated .
Out of these positives 283 had been reported from the Kandakadu Drug Rehabilitation Center where the new Corona cluster has been emerged ,01 Corona positive was a Welikada Prison inmate and 13 arrivals from abroad namely 09 from India, 03 from United Arab Emirates and 01 from Pakistan.
The Corona positive Welikada Prison inmate who was identified today is the second Corona positive identified in that prison and he was admitted to the IDH Hospital it has been reported.
At the moment 460 Corona positives are being treated in Government. Hospitals .
