Two Youth Have Died Whilst Bathing At "Ma "Oya

Two youth have drowned whilst

bathing at "Ma "Oya(River) in Yakabandiella of Giriulla area laSt noon (03).

The deceased who were of the ages 17 and 18 years and residents of Giriulla area had faced this incident whilst bathing with three others at Ma Oya it has been revealed .

CID Had Visited The House Of Former Premier Ranil Wikramasinghe Yesterday (03) To Record A Statement

Criminal Investigations Department

(CID)Officers had visited the residence of former Prime minister and the leader of the United National Party (UNP) Ranil Wikramasinghe yesterday (03)and recorded a four hour statement from the UNP Leader regarding the Central Bank Bond Scam.

The team of CID Officers had visited the UNP Leader's house in Colombo as a result of an advise given by Attorney General Dappula De Livera to the Acting Inspector General Of Police (IGP )Chandana Wikramaratna to do so it has been reported.

Attorney General had advised the Acting IGP on 18 th of June to record statements from Former Prime Minister Ranil Wilramasinghe and Former President Maithripala Sirisena over the Central Bank Bond Scam incident Occured during the previous good governance government.
