Seven Corona positives had been

reported yesterday (01),increasing the total number of Corona positives in the country to 2054 according to Epidemeology Unit .

Among the seven Corona positives reported yesterday there were 04 arrivals of Bangladesh, one arrival of England and one of Dubai .

Popular Veteran Children's Story Writer Sybil Weththasinghe Has Passed Away

The popular veteran children's story book writer and artist " Kala keerthi" Sybil Weththasinghe has passed away last Tuesday night (30) at the age of 93 .

The popular Sri Lankan author late Sybil Weththasinghe was born on 31 st of October 1927 in Ginthota ,Galle and written nearly 200 books during her career .

She had contributed to the book "Wonder Crystal "recently with 20,000 children and setup a new Gunness book of world record by creating the book with most endings

She is popularly known among children as "Sybil nanda " and had lightened children's world during her life through her colorful story books .

"May she attain Supreme bliss of Nibbana "according to the Buddhist philosophy.

37 Corona Positives Had Been Discharged Today (01)After Full Recovery

A total of 37 Corona positives had been

discharged from Hospitals today (01)after full recovery according to the Epidemeology Unit .
Accordingly the total number of Corona positives recovered and discharged so far in the country had been increased to 1748 the unit has staTed.

At the moment 295 Corona positives are being treated at Government Hospitals
