179 Sri Lankans Stranded In Maldives Brought Back To Sri Lanka Yesterday (29)

A Special Sri Lankan Airlines flight

carrying 179 Sri Lankans stranded in Maldives due to the Corona pandemic had been brought back to Sri Lanka yesterday (29).

The flight carrying these Passangers had arrived at Mattala International Airport from Male International Airport in Maldives yesterday .

All the Passangers in the flight along with cabin crew had undergone "PCR "Tests to check their corona status at the Airport and afterwards they were transported to nearby hotels until receiving test results .

Five Corona Positives Reported Yesterday (29)

Five Corona positives had been

reported yesterday (29) until 11 p.m in the country ,raising the total number of Corona positives reported so far to 2042 according to Epidemeology Unit.

Accordingly first two Positives reported yesterday were arrivals from Bangladesh and Three were arrivals from Pakistan who are under quarantine at quarantine Centers.

At the moment 353 Corona positives are being treated in Government Hospitals.

Another 17 Corona Positives Had Been. discharged From Hospitals Today (29)After Full Recovery

Another 17 Corona positives had been

discharged today (29)from government Hospitals after full recovery according to Epidemeology Unit.

Accordingly the total number of Corona Positives discharged from Hospitals so far after full recovery had risen to 1678

At the moment 350 Corona positives are being treated in Government Hospitals.
