Nine Persons Had Been Injured Due To A Vehicle Collision At Southern Expressway

Nine persons had been injured  ,Three in critical condition and admitted to the Karapitiya Teaching Hospital due to a Motor Car -Van Collision Occurred at the entry between Baddegama and Pinnaduwa in Southern Expressway this morning  (28).

The incident occurred when a Motor Car travelled from Colombo to Galle had collided with a van when attempting to pass the van it has been revealed. As a result the Motor car had also collided   with the security fence .

Afterwards the Van had collided with a Bus arrived from behind

All Schools Closed Due To Corona Pandemic Due To Be Re-Opened For Principals,Teachers And Non Academic Staff From. Tomorrow

All the schools in the Country closed

down since 13 th of March due to the Corona pandemic threat are scheduled to be re-opened   tomorrow (29) from few stages according to the Education Ministry.

Accordingly tomorrow Only school Principals, teachers and non academic staff will attend schools .Schools will be re -opened for School children from 06 th of July under few stages.   

A Group Of 290 Sri Lankans Stranded In Belarus Brought Back To Sri Lanka This Morning (28)

A group of 290 Sri Lankans mostly

higher  Education students stranded  in Belarus due to the corona pandemic had been brought back to Sri Lanka this morning  (28) through a Special Sri Lankan Airlines flight .

Accordingly a Sri Lankan Airlines flight carrying these Passangers had arrived in Katunayake International Airport thiz morning from Minsk International Airport in Belarus .

All the Passangers along with the Cabin crew of the flight had undergone "PCR "Tests at the Airport to check their corona status it has been reported .
