A Group Of 290 Sri Lankans Stranded In Belarus Brought Back To Sri Lanka This Morning (28)

A group of 290 Sri Lankans mostly

higher Education students stranded in Belarus due to the corona pandemic had been brought back to Sri Lanka this morning (28) through a Special Sri Lankan Airlines flight .

Accordingly a Sri Lankan Airlines flight carrying these Passangers had arrived in Katunayake International Airport thiz morning from Minsk International Airport in Belarus .

All the Passangers along with the Cabin crew of the flight had undergone "PCR "Tests at the Airport to check their corona status it has been reported .

Four Corona Positives Reported So Far Today (28)

Four Corona Positives had been

reported in the country today (28)so far ,increasing the total number of Corona positives reported to 2037 according to the Epidemeology Unit.

All the four Corona positives reported were arrivals of Pakistan ,Bangladesh and Kuwait the Unit has stated .

22 Corona Positives Had Been Discharged From Hospitals Today (28)

Another 22 Corona positives had been

discharged from government Hospitals today (28)after full recovery, increasing the total number of Corona positives discharged from today according to the Epidemeology Unit .

Accordingly 385 Corona postives and 51 auspected as corona positives are being treated in Government Hospitals at present .

No More Curfew From Today (28)-Public And Institutions Are Being Advised To Follow Corona Prevention Health Guidelines Further

The all Island Curfew imposed in the

country since 20th of March with different time tables to prevent the spreading of corona virus is scheduled to be lifted fully from today (28) according to the President's Media Unit .

The Islandwide curfew was first implemented on 20 th of March until 24 th of March and then implemented islandwide with a different time table .

Since 13 th of June up to yesterday (27)the curfew has been implemented from 12 in the midnight until 4 a.m .

Meamwhile public and all government and private institutions are being advised to follow Corona virus prevention health guidelines until the Corona pandemic situation is over according to the Health authorities.
