19 Jailors Had Been Transferred
A total of 19 jailors in 19 prisons island
wide including 08 Chief Jailors had been transferred with immediate effect according to the Prisons Commissioner General Thushara UpulDeniya.
Accordingly these jailors including the chief jailor of Negambo Prison had been transferred over Irregularities occurred in relevent prisons and smuggling activities of prisoners it has been revealed.
All these transfers had been approved by National Election Commission .

14 Corona Positives Had Been Discharged From Hospitals Today (24)
A total of 14 Corona positives had been
discharged from hospitals today (24)after fully recovered accotding to th Epidemeology Unit .
Accordingly the total number of Corona positives discharged from hospitals has been increased to 1562 the unit has stated .
At the moment 428 Corona positives are being treated in Government hospitals .

PHI's Are Threatening To Pull Out From Corona Prevention Activities From 29th Of June
Public Health inspectors (PHI) union
has today (23)threatened that they will pull out their members from Corona prevention ,Election and Dengue and other Infectious diseases control activities from 29 th of June if the health authorities not taking any steps to provide solutions for three demands.
Accordingly Sri Lanka Public Health Inspectors Union has demands the authorities to solve problems of PHI appointments under the quarantine act ,legalized the quarantine act regulations prepared for instititions to follow after lifting the lockdown and implement quarantine laws .
PHI union officials had discussed on these demands with the health officials around six times but no solution has been provided for these demands president of the Union M.G
U Rohana has stated .
