Another 11 Corona Positives Were Reported -All Were US Arrivals

Another 11 Corona positives had been

reported by 10 p.m today (23) ,increasing the total number of Corona positives in the country to 1991 according to the Epidemeology unit.

All 11 Corona positives reported few hours ago were Sri lankans arrived from United States it has been revealed.

A total of 40 imported Corona positives had been reported today .

Accordingly the total number  of Corona positives currently receiving treatment in Government hospitals had risen to 432 .

United states due to Corona pandamic had arrived in Katunayake International Airport this morning (23)from Emirates flight it has been reported .

"PCR "Tests had been performed on All the passangers and cabin crew of the flight to identify their Corona status at the Katunayake Airport.

Afterwards they were transported to nearby hotels until receiving test results .

151 Indian Sailors Had Been Brought To Sri Lanka To Work In A Foreign Ship

A Spice Jet Airways carrying  151

Indian sailors who are scheduled to work in a Foreign   shipping  company  had arrived in Katunayake ,International Airport last night (22).

Out of these 151 Indian sailors 11 had left for qatar and 140 sailors are scheduled to be worked at a foreign ship anchored in Colombo Harbor it has been reported.

All these sailors had undergone "PCR "tests to check their corona status at the Katunayake Airport .
