290 Sri Lankans Stranded In Dubai Brought Back To Sri Lanka This Morning (18)
A total of 290 Sri Lankans stranded in
Dubai ,United Arab Emirates including 100 pregnent females and 08 children ,due to Corona pandamic had been brought back to Sri Lanka this morning (18) through a Special Sri lankan airlines flight it has been reported .
A government hospital staff had performed "PCR "tests on all the passangers of the flight and the cabin crew .
Afterwards they were tramsported to 04 hotels near the Katunayake Airport to stay there untill receiving the test reults .
09 Corona Positives Reported Yesterday (17)
A total of 09 Corona positives had been
reported in the country yesterday (17)increasing the total number of Corona positives reported from the country to 1924 according to the Epidemeology Unit.
Accordingly out of the first 08 Corona positives reported yesterday ,5 were persons arrived from Chennai,India and under quarantine at quarantine centers and 03 were Navy personal.
At the moment 516 Corona positives are being treated at Government hospitals the Unit has stated.

Foreign Tourists Arriving Sri Lanka From 01st of August Are Not Allow To Use Public Transport
After authorising the arrival of Foreign
tourists to the country from 01st of August ,their transport facilities should have arranged by the hotels they are staying in and they are not allow to use public transport including Buses and Trains during their stay here according to the Corona prevention Health Guidelines issued by Health Ministry to the Tourism Sector .
According to the Sri Lanka Tourist Board ,under the 90 page Health guidelines issued to the Tourism sector all the foreign tourists arriving the country from 01 st of August need to undergo a "PCR "test 72 hours prior to their arrival here and after tbeir arrival at the Katunayake International Airport to check their Corona status .
Also these Tourists need to undergo "PCR " test after 5-7 days and 10-12 days of their arrival to the country Tourism Board has stated .
All the foreign tourists are being advised to apply online Visas prior to their arrival with their travel plan it has been revealed.

A special Indian jet belongs to Indigo
Airways carrying 54 Indian sailors had Arrived at Katunayake International Airport this evening (17).
These sailors had been brought back to Sri lanka from Mumbai, India to work in a Ship anchored at Colombo Harbour.
