All Closed Zoos ,National Parks Amd Botanical Gardens In The Country To Be Re-Opened From Tomorrow (15) Whilst Maintaining Strict Health Guidelines

All Zoos,National Parks and Botanical gardens which had been closed down since late March due to Corona pandamic will be reopened for public from tomorrow (15) by following strict corona prevention health guidelines including social distancing according to Ministry of Enviornment and Wildlife .

Minister S.M Chandrasena has announced that these Parks ,Zoos and Gardens will be opened for both local and foreign tourists from tomorrow ,But strict health guidelines will be maintained with the advise of Health amd Defense Ministries.

Islandwide Curfew To Be Lifted Further From Tonight -Public And Private Institutions Are Being Advised To Follow Corona Prevention Guidelines Further

The Islandwide Curfew imposed so far
daily from 11 p.m to 4 a.m is scheduled to be relaxed further with effect from tomight (14) and accordingly from today the prevailing Curfew will be imposed from 12 in the midnight to 4 a.m next morning .

Meanwhile Government has requested the Public and Private Institutions as well as from the public to follow Corona prevention health guidelines durimg day to day activities further although there's no conmunity spread of the virus here at the moment .

Water Cut Mafia Continues -Another 15 Hour Long Water Cut Has Been Implemented In Five Coombo Divisions Today (14)

A 15 hour long water cut is being
implemented at present in five Divisions of Colombo Municipal Council area from 9 a.m today (14) until 12 in the midnight due to an urgent repairs of the Water pumping  system belonging to the city development project of the Colombo Municipal Council  according to the National Water Supplies and Drainage Board .

Accordingly water supply to Colombo--02,03,07,08 and 10 divisions is being  stopped from 9 a.m this morning and water supply to Colombo -01 is being under low preassure during the water cut period the Boatd has stated.


All Universiries Are Scheduled To Be Re-Ooened For Final Year Students From 22 nd Of June

All the state universities which had
been closed down since last March to prevent the spreading of Corona virus  are scheduled to be re opened for all final year students who are sitting for the final year  exams on 22 nd of June the University Grants Commission(UGC) has announced  today (13).

The  final year exams of all University faculties should be concluded whilst  following Corona health guidelines by 15 th of August UGC has stated.

All university Vice Chancellors should have conducted final year exams of all faculties seperately and students are not allowed to stay at University premises  after 7 p.m authorities have announced .Also large gatherings and sports events in.universities are also banned due to the current situation.
