Three Corona Positives Had Been Reported Today (12)

Three Corona virus positives had been

reported today(12) until 11.45 p.m ,increasing the total number of Corona positives in the country to 1880 according to the Epidemeology Unit

At the moment 673 Corona positives are being treated at government hospitals .

Funeral Of The Deceased President Of Three Whealer Federation To Be Held On Sunday

The funeral of the president of Lanka

Self Employed National Three Whealer Federation Sunil jayawardane (53)who was brutally assaulted and murdered whilst discussing on releasing of a Three whealer of one of his members of the Federation from a leasing Company in Maharagama , is scheduled to be held at Boralasgamuwa Cemetary this Sunday (14).

The deceased was assaulted and murdered at the Leasing Company premises and Mirihana police had arrested 08 persons over the incodent .All the suspects had been remanded yesterday (11) until 25 th of June after been produced before the court .

The deceased had been handed over nominations from an independent Group to contest for the forthcoming Feneral Election .

The Leasing company which had taken away the Three whealer of the member of Self employed National.Three whealer Federation is located at Embuldeniya in Maharagama and has been identified as unregistered leasing company .

Meanwhile President Gotabaya Rajapakshe had today (12) directed the Inspector General Of Police (IGP) to prevent Leasing companies from taking over Motor vehicles sold on leasing basis under their custody over not paying installments as it's an ileagal act.

46 Corona Positives Had Been Recovered And Discharged From Hospitals Today (12)

A total of 46 Corona positives had been

discharged from Hospitals today (12)aftet full recovered accordimg to the Epidemrology Unit.

Accordingly The total number of Corona Positives that had been discharged upto now had been increased to 1196.

At the noment 671 Corona Positives are being treated at Government Hospitals .

Permission Given To Hold Annual Processions (Perahara)Without The Participation Of Public

Covid Prevention Tas k Force has today (12)decided to allow all Main Buddhist Temples and Devalaya's t in the country to conduct their Annual processions (Perahera)without the participation of public by following the Corona prevention Health Guidelines according to the President's Media Division .

Accordingly Annual Processions of All temples and Devalaya's including Sri Dalada Maligawa in Kandy ,Sabaragamuwa and Kataragama Devalaya's ' will be held this year as usual without the public and with the participation of minimum number of Artistes .

The Artistes selected to participate the processions should be participated with the health certificatte issued by the Health officer in tbeir respective areas the President's Media division has stated .

All the events of the annual Esala perahera (Proession ) in Kandy Sri dalada Maligawa are scheduled to be telecasted live over the T.v for ten days it has been announced.

This wil be the first time in Sri Lanka's History that the Annual.processions are scheduled to be held without public viewers and partucipation of minimum number of Artistes .

These decisions had been taken during a meeting held between Covid Prevention Task force members and Basnayake Nilame's of Devalaya's today under the patronage of President Gotabaya Rajapakshe .
