A 59 year old female has died and 08

others had been injured and hospitalized this evening (02) due to a Wasp attackwhilst plucking tea leaves at a Tea Estate  in lindula Police division .

The critically injured female had succumbed to her injuries after admission to hospital it has been reported .

Another Group Of 291 Sri Lankan Passangers Stranded In Singapore Had Been Brought Back To Sri Lanka This Morning (02)

A special Sri Lankan Airlines flight carrying 291 Sri Lankan

passangers stranded in Singapore  had arrived at Katunayake International Airport this morning (02) it has been reported .

All the passangers and Cabin crew of the flight had undrrgone the "PCR "Test to identify those infected with Corona virus at the Airport and afterwards until the issuing of  test results all passangers of the flight are being  kept in  four hotels according to authotities .

All those who will be tested positive for Corona virus are due to be sent to Hospitals  and others are due to send to quarantine centers for quarantine process.

A Person Who Had Arrived From Kuwait Died Due To Corona Infection

Eleventh Corona death has been reported in the country today

(01) as a 45 year old person who had arrived from Kuwait recently has died due to Corona virus infection whilst receiving treatment at Homagama Base Hospital it has been reported.

The victim was at the Intensive Care Unit of Homagama Base Hospital in Criticatol condition according to the reports .

So far tw o persons a rrived from Kuwait had died due to Corona virus infection .

Another 10 Corona Positives Had Been Discharged From Hospirals Today (01)

Another 10 Corona positives had been discharged from hospitals

today(01) after fully recovered ,increasing the total number of Corona positives discharged so far to 811 according to Epidemeology Unit.

Accordingly Corona positives had been discharged from Navy ,IDH,Welikanda ,Mulleriyawa and Homagama Hospitals after fully recove red. 

Another 10 Corona Virus Positives Had Been Reported Today (01)

A total of 10 Corona Virus positives had been reported today (01)

until 10.30 p.m ,increasing the total number of Corona positives in the country to 1643 according to the Epidemeology Unit .

Accordingly out of the 10 Corona virus positives reported so far 06 were foreign arrivals (including those arrived from Belarus and India),02 were Navy personal and there were  another 02 persons  mentioned by the Epidemeology Unit as others.Those two persons were relatives of the Army soldier who had been tested positive for Corona virus recently it has been reported.

At the moment 821 Corona virus positives are being treated in Government  Hospitals it has been revealed .
