Fourteen Corona virus positives had

been discharged from hospitals today (24)after fully recovered according to the Epidemeilogy Unit .

Accordingly 674 Corona Virus positives had been discharged from Hospitals so far .

Updated -51 Corona Virus Positives Mainly Those Who Had Arrived From Kuwait, Had Been Identified Today (24)

Fifty one  (51) new Corona virus

positives had been identified today(24)until 9.45 p.m  ,Increasing the total number of Corona virus positives reported from the country to to 1140 according to Epidemeology Unit.

Accordingly fourty nine (49) corona positives out of the fifty one  positives identified today were Sri lankans brought bck to the country recently from Kuwait and currently  under quarantine at Quarantine centers in Trincomalee and Minneriya it has been revealed .One positive was a Navy personal and other positive was a returnee from Indonesia who is currently under quarantine at the quarantine center in Pelwehera area.

At the moment 457 Corona positives are being treated in Government hospitals .

35 Sri Lankans Stranded In Seachelles Were Brought Back To Sri Lanka

Thirty five Sri Lankan nationals

stranded in Seachelles due to the Corona pandanic had been brought back  to Sri Lanka this evening (23)through a special Air Seachelles flight accotding to sources .

The group of Sri lankans along with their luggage had been disinfected by the Sri lanka Airforce personal at the Katunayake International Airport.  Later they were transported to quarantine centers for quarantine following a health checkup at Airport health office.
