The highest number of "PCR" Tests

performed in a single day had been carried out yesterday (22) according to the Health Promotions Bureau .

Accordingly 1970 PCR Tests had been carried out yesterday (22) and identified 13 positives .

So far 51,094  Corona positives had been carriedout in Sri lanka since 18 th of February to identify Corona positives .

Fourty Corona Virus Positives Had Been Discharged Ftom Hospitals Today (23)

Fourty Corona Virus positives had been

discharged from hospitals today (23)at 10 a.m after fully recovered according to Epidemiology Unit .

Accordingly 660 Corona positives had been so far doscharged from hospitals after fully recovered .

At the moment 399 Corona Positives are being currently treated at 08 hospitals and 101 patients suspected as Corona positives are being treated at 24 hospitals according to reports .

Majority Of The Corona Virus Positives Reported Yesterday (22) Were Navy Personal

Eleven out of the Thirteen Corona Virus

Positives reported yesterday (22)were Navy personal and there were two Sri lankans arrived from Malaysia and Kuwait who are under quarantine in Quarantine centers it has been reported.

1068 Corona positives had been reported in the country so far.

A special Sri Lankan Flight had left for

Dhaka,Bangladesh this noon (23) to bring back a group of Sri Lankans stranded in Dhaka due to the spreading of Corona virus it has been reported .

The flight with the group of Sri lankan nationals is scheduled to arrive at  Katunayake  International Airport tonight .

Meanwhile another Group of Sri Lankans stranded in Australia is scheduled to arrive here on 29th of May through a Special Sri Lankan Airlines flight .

A special Sri Lankan Airlines flight

carrying 260 Sri.lankans stranded at Moscow ,Russia due to Corona pandamic has been landed at Katunayake International Airport few hours ago .

The Group of Sri Lankans along with their luggage had been disinfected by the Sri Lanka Airforce personal at the Airport and afterwards trnsported to Quarantine Centers for Quarantime tnrough Special Army buses  according to reports .
