A Lorry Driver Was Killed Due To A Lorry Accident At Ella Area Last Monday (18)
A driver had been killed and his
assistant had been critically injured and hospitalized after the Lorry they were travelling in toppled over across the road at Ravana Ella area in Ella-Wellawaya road last Monday (18)night .
The Lorry driver had been killed on the spot and his assistant had been critically injured and admitted to the Badulla General Hospital .
The incident occurred when the Lorry had transported vegetables from Bandarawela to Kalmunai area .The deceased Driver was a resident of Kalmunai area it has been revealed .

Office Commuters Can Now Travel In Trains Without Booking Seats -Passanger Transport Ministry
As Most of the office commuters who
had booked Train seats earlier avoid travellng in trains authorities have decided to cancel the seat booking system operated in Trains and allowed every office commuter to travel in Trains through purchasing a ticket from today (20)according to Ministry of Passanger Transport Management .
However only office commuters who are being produced their office Identity card can travel in trains these days it has been announced .Normal passangers are still not allow to Travel through trains .

466 Sri Lankans Illegally Stayed In Kuwait Were Brough Back To Sri Lanka Last Night(19)
Two Kuwaiti Airlines flights had
brought back 466 Sri lankans who were stayed illegally in Kuwait last night (19)it has been reported.
Accordingly The first Kuwaiti Airlines flight had brought back 287 Sri lankan nationals and the second flight had carried 179 Sri lankans .
They were sent to Sri lanka during the grace period announced by the Kuwaiti government.The illegal migrants were provided with temporary Passports by the Sri Lankan Embassy in Kuwait to return to Sri lanka.
The Sri lankan migrants were disinfected along with their luggage at the Katunayake International Airport and later had been transported to Quarantine centers through Special Army Buses aftet undergoing a health checkup at the Katunaydke Airport Health office .
Around 19,000 Illegal Sri lankan migrant employees are there in Kuwait it has been revealed .

Accordingly the total number of Corona virus positives reported so far had risen to 1027 the unit has stated.All the 35 Corona positives reported yesterday were Navy personal .
At the momemt 449 Corona positives are being treated at Government Hospitals .
