A Sri Lankan Airlines Flight Brought Back 235 Sri Lankans Stranded In Japan

Sri Lankan Airlines flight had brought

back 235 Sri lankans stranded in Japan due to the Corona Pandamic ,to Sri lanka in the wee hours of this morning (16).

The Sri Lankan Airlines flight UL-455 had brought back these Sri lankan nationals from Narita International Airport ,Tokyo ,Japan .

After the group of passangers and their luggage had been disinfected and the Airport health office had checked their health status tney were sent to Quarantime centers through special Army Buses .

A Group Of 74 Sri Lankans Stranded In Myanmar Had Been Brought Back To Sri Lanka

Myanmar International Airlines flight

had brought back 74 Sri lankans who had been stranded in Myanmar due to Corona pandamic ,to Sri lanka this evening(16).

The group of Sri lankan passangers along with their luggage had been disinfected by the Sri lanka Airforce personal and afterwards  they were transported to Quarantine centers for Quarantime it has been revealed .

499 Navy Petsonal Infected With Corona Virus

Now 499 Navy personal had been

reported as  infected with Corona virus according to Sri Lanka Navy .

Out of these Corona positives 177 were discharged after fully recovered it has been revealed .Other positive Navy personal are being treated in Navy Hospital welisara . 

43 Corona Positives Had Discharged From Hospitals Today (16)

43 Corona Virus patients had

discharged from Hospitals this morning (16)at 10 a.m after fully recovered  according to Epidemeology Unit.

Accordingly the total number of recovered  Corona Virus positives discharged from hospitals so far had risen to 520 .

At the moment 406 Corona positives and 106 patients suspected as Corona positives are being treated at Government Hospitals it has been reported .

Landslide Warnings Issued To 09 Districts

Due to heavy showers that had been

experienced during  last 24 hours in the island National Building Research Organization (NBRO)had issued landslide warnings to 09 Districts .

Accordingly NBRO had issued landslide warnings to Galle ,Matara ,Ratnapura ,Kegalle ,Kurunagala,Colombo ,Kalutara ,Matale  and Kandy districts and people in tbese areas should be vigilant over landslide signs these days it has been announced .
