Curfew In Colombo And Gampaha Districts To Continue Further -An Islandwide Curfew Will Be Imposed On This Sunday Until Monday Morning .

Government has decided to Continue

with the Curfew imposed in Colombo and Gampaha Districts until further notice whilst operating  State and Private sector offices and to impose an Island wide curfew on this Sunday according to Presidents Media Unit .

Accordingly an Island wide curfew will be imposed on this Sunday until 5 a.m on Monday  (18) in 24 Districts and from Monday until next Monday curfew in these districts will be imposed from 8 p.m to 5 a.m daily it has been announced .

Although the Curfew is there life and office work in all Districts wil be restored and function as usual it has been reported

in the country today (14)up to 10 .30 p.m according to the Epidemeology Unit .

Accordingly the Total number of Corona positives had been increased to 925 .

At the moment  471 Corona positives are being treated in Government Hospitals .

26 Corona Virus positives had been

identified yesterday (13)through 889 "PCR "Tests carriedout according to the Health circles .All these posotives were Navy Personal attached to the Navy camp in Welisara accotding to reports .

With these positives the total number of Corona positives reported in the country has been increased to 915.

At the moment 461 Corona virus positives are being treated in Government Hospitsls Also 105 suspected are being treated in several Government hospitals .
