Restoring Normalcy In The Country Began Amidst Curfew-Only Few Hundrad Employees Managed To Reach Offices Today (11) Due To Transport Difficulties
Although a section of Employees
attached to State and Private sector instititions were asked to return to work today (11)as a part of restoring normalcy in the society Following the lifting of curfew ,only few hundrad persons had resumed work today it has been reported .
Many have used private vehicles to travel to their offices despite public transport was arranged by the government today According to the sources .
Train service has made arrangements to transport 2237 Employees to work today as requested by authorities however only 980 travelled it has been revealed .
Many employees in outstation areas who had returned to roads this morning to travel their workplaces in Colombo got stranded as the Buses available in roads were not sufficient enough for them it has been revealed .
Government has announced earlier that 5200 Sri Lanka transport Board (SLTB)buses will be utilized today for the benefit of Employees however only 3200 Buses Had been seen providing transport facilities .
In some trains very handful number of people travelled to Colombo it has been reported .However many buses and all trains had managed to keep social distance berween passangers .
As some Bus Drivers and conductors had attempted to transport a large number of passangers without keeping social distancing among passangers ,Police have taken steps to remove extra passangers from those buses according to reports .

Major General Sanjeewa Munasinghe Has Been Appointed As The New Health Secretary

Health Services and Consultant Radiologist attached to the Army Hospital Major General Sanjeewa Munasinghe has been appointed as the new Secretary to the Ministry of Health today (11).
The new Health Ministry Secretary who had replaced former Health secretary Badrani Jayawardane has assumed his duties at the Health Ministry this evening .
Major General Munasinghe is also serving as the president of Collage Of Military Medicine .

22 Corona Positives Had Discharged Hospitals After Fully Recovere
22 Corona virus positives had been
discharge from Hospitals after fully recovered by 10 a.m this morning according to the Epidemeology Unit .
Accordingly the total number of Corona virus positives discharged in the country so far has been increased to 343 .
At the momemt 511 Corona Virus positives are being treated in 07 Government Hospitals and 114 Persons suspected as infected with Corona virus are being treated in 27 hospitals it has been revealed.

Another 07 Corona Positives Added To Yesterday's Corona Positive Total -Now Total Has Been Increased To 863
Another 07 corona virus positives had
been added to the total number of Corona virus positives reported in the country last night (10) at 11.55 p.m ,increasing the total to 863 accotding to Epidemeology Unit .
Accordingly 16 Corona positives had been reported in the country during yesterday (10)and out of them 13 positives were Navy personal ,02 were Those who are under quarantine after returning from Dubai and 01 person was a close contact of a Navy personal infected with the virus .
Accordingly 533 Corona virus positives are being treated at 07 Government Hospitals at present .
