Another batch of 125 Sri Lankan

 Students who had been stranded at Kolkata ,India due to the lockdown of that  country had been brought back to Sri lanka yesterday (30)tbtough a special Sri lankan Airlines Flight .

The batch of  students brought back yesterday  had been sent to the Quarantine centers soon After their arrival at the Katunayake International Airport  through special buses .

This was the fifth batch of stranded Sri lankan studemts brought to Sri lanka from India .Earlier Students stranded in Wuhan ,China ,Nepal and Bangladesh had been brought back to Sri lanka .

14 Corona Virus Positives Had Been Reported Today (30)-18 Positives Had Been Discharged

Fourteen Corona Virus Positives had been reported in the island  During today (30) upto 10.30 p.m and 18 Corona positives had been discharged from hospitals according to the Epidemeology Unit .

Accordingly a total number of 663 Corona virus positives had been reported up to now and 154 Corona positives had been discharged from hospitals as they were fully recovered .

At the moment 502 Corona Virus positives are being treated at 08 Government Hospitals according to the Epidemeology Unit .

Eye Hospital To Carryout Only Emergancy Services Due To Corona Outbreak

National Eye Hospital in Colombo -10

has decided to carryout   only accident and  eye disorder emergancy  services until the slowing down the Corona Virus outbreak .

According to the Eye Hospital authoruties as the  hospital is located  at the Hgh risk Zone of spreading the Corona virus under the social distancing rule can only facilitate up to 100 patients in the OPD .

30 Corona Positives Reported Today (29)-Total Number Of Corona Positives Had Been Increased To 649

During today (29)until 11.30 a.m 30

Corona virus positives had been reported from Sri lanka ,increasing the total number of Corona virus positives in the country to 649 according to Epidemrology Unit.

Accordingly the total number of Corona virus positives currently being treated at 06 Government Hospitals had been risen to 506.

Another 02 Corona Positives who had been recovered fully was discharged from hospitals today ,increasing the number of Corona positives discharged so far to 136.

An Island Wide Curfew To Be Imposed In 22 Districts From 8 P.m Tomorrow (30)Until Monday

Government has decided to impose the

island wide curfew in 22 districts from 8 p.m tomorrow (30)until 5.a.m next Monday (04) the President's Media Division had announced this evening (29).

Accordingly the Curfew will be imposed in these districts which has been lifted  last morning (28) at 5 a.m ,A day ahead as earlier the Curfew is scheduled to be imposed from Friday night to Monday morning .

However Government has not yet announced  when the curfew in Colombo ,Gampaha ,Kalutara and Putralam districts scheduled to be lifted.The curfew in these Four districts will remain until further notice according to sources .
