A 12 Hour Water Cut Imposed By Water Board Amidst Corona Virus Spread

The National Water supplies and drainage board had imposed a 12 hour long water cut since 4 p.m this evening (11) in several areas of  Colombo and Gampaha districts Amidst the curfew imposed in the country at present .

The water cut is being imposed in several areas including  Kelaniya ,Paliyagoda ,Wattala ,Mabola ,Katunayaka ,Seeduwa and Biyagama areas due to a mantainance work of a pipeline according to the Water Board .People in these areas are being faced severe difficulties due to this water cut amidst curfew it has been reported .

As the health officials have advised the public to wash their hands often to prevent the spreading of corona virus in the society ,long Water cuts like this will be hampered the implementation of these practices among public according to experts .

No Corona Virus Positive Reported From Sri Lanka Today (10)- 05 Positives Had Discharged From Hospitals

No Corona virus infected person has
been reported until 12 in the midnight today (10) according to the Epidemiology Unit .

Hoover 05 corona virus positives treated  in 03 government hospitals had discharged today after being fully recovered .with them 54 corona positives had discharged from.hospitals .
At present 129 Corona virus positives are being treated at Infectious Diseases Hospital ,Angoda ,Eastern Colombo Base Hospital in Mulleriyawa and Welikanda Base Hospital.

Another 224 Corona virus suspected cases are being treated at 29 government hospitals by this noon the Epidemiology unit has stressed .Among them there's a one foreigner .

Seven deaths had been also reported due to corona virus .

The Last Batch Of Overseas Returnees Who Had Undergone 29 Day Quarantine Process Had Left For Homes Yesterday (09)

The last batch of those who had returned from  overseas and undergone quarantine process in a Quarantine center had left the Kandakadu Quarantine center yesterday (09)after being quarantined for 29 days it has been announced  .

This batch compromised with 37 sri lankans who had arrived  from Italy and South Korea and they have undergone quarantine for an extra fifteen  days than other who had completed  the quarantine process earlier  as few anong them time to.time had tested positive  for corona virus .

The batch members had been transported to their homes at Colombo ,Chilaw ,Kurunagala ,puttalam and negambo areas yesterday from.Army and private vehicles .
