President Gotabaya Rajapakshe To Dissolve Parliament Soon
President Gotabaya Rajapakshe is due
to dissolve the 08 th Parliament most probably by midnight tomorrow (02 )according to the powers vested with him under the 19th Amendment to the Constitution the Government sources have revealed today (01).
Under the 19th Amendment president can dissolve Parliament at any time after the Parliament completing four and half years and current Parliament which elected on 17th of August 2015 has completed four and half years today .
According to Government sources an a special Gazette Notification issued scheduled to be issued under the signature of President Rajaoakshe within next 24 hours announcing the dissolvement of the current Parliament.
Current government has no majority in the parliament and that lead to the dissolvement it has been reported .

A CTB Bus Suddenly Caught Fire At Southern Expressway
A Ceylon Transport Board (CTB)Bus
travelling from Kottawa -Makumbura to Hambanthota on Colombo -Matara Southern Expressway had suddenly caught fire today (01)near the 112 th Kilo Meter post at Kokmaduwa -I Imaduwa inter exchange and severely damaged as a result it had been reported .
Around 20 Passangers who were in the bus had escaped unhurt according to sources .The fire was later doused by the fire Brigade.
Southern Expressway Police are conducting an investigations on the incident.

Six Persons Including Four Ftench Nationals Injured Due To A Road Accident
Six persons including four members of
a French family had been injured ,five of them critically and admitted to Dambulla Base Hospital this noon (01)after the Van they were travelling in veering off the road and crashed in to a Fence, Seven pillars and two teek trees at Omaragolla pallama in Galewela on Kurunagala -Dambulla main road .
Among the injured are four members A Mother, father ,daughter and son of a French family and the local tourist guide and the Van driver. The condition of the French mother ,father and daughter as well as the guide and driver had received serious injuries .
The injured are of the ages 21-54 years and they have faced this incident whilst on the way to a hotel at Seegiriya from KATUNAYAKE Airport .
Police are investigating on the incident
