A Motorcyclist Was Killed At Wariyapola

A 35 year old Motorcyclist had been

killed after his Motorcycle veering off the road and crashed at Independence Junction in Wariyapola area today  (01).

The critically injured Motorcyclist  had  succumbed to his injuries after admission to Wariyapola Hospital. The deceased was a resident of polgahawela are .

The incident occurred as the Motorcyclist had lost the control of the vehicle according to Police Media Division.

Presidential Secretary Informed Government Cannot Provide Employment For 1300 Teacher Trainees

B Jayasundara had announced that the government will not be able to provide employment for 1300 persons who are currently training at National Language and Education  training center as Teacher trainees.

The 1300 Teacher trainees had been recruited for the training by former Prime Minister Ranil Wikramasinghe and former Minister Mano Ganeshan by promoting them to confirm their service in the government sector.

However government can provide these trainees all facilities to complete their  training .

However when the trainees  had revealed this President's Secretary  has told them that the current government  can not give  them appointments  based on a promise made by  Forner prime minister. 

First Corona Virus Infected Person At IDH Hospital Is Now Fully Recovered -Director General Of Health Services

The first Corona Virus infected patient

found in Sri Lanka who is a 43 year old Chinese female had now fully recovered from the infection according to the Director General Of Health Services Dr.Anil Jasinghe .

Addressing a Media briefing held today  (01)at the Health Ministry Dr.Jasinghe has stressed that the  Chinese female who is currently in isolation at Infectious Diseases Hospital (IDH)in Angoda can be discharged from the hospital anytime.

During the tests it has been revealed that neither her husband or the persons she had interacted at hotels during her stay in Sri Lanka are infected with Corona Virus .

Meanwhile according to the IDH Hospital sources all 16 corona virus suspected persons currently isolated in the hospital had found as not infected with the virus.

Sri lanka's first Corona virus patient has been  identified on last Monday (27)and since then no corona virus positive person has been found in the country.

Meanwhile 

A Stock Of Kerala Cannabis Recovered Whilst Floating In The Sea

Sri Lanka Navy had Today(01)recovered   97.2 Kilo Grammes of Kerala Cannabis whilst floating in the sea  area of Myladi in Jaffna during a mobile patrol inspection held in the area .

Accordingly  the Navy officers had been recovered few parcels containing Kerala Cannabis  whilst floating in sea.

No one was arrested regarding the incident .

The stock of Kerala Cannabis taken in to custody had been handed over to the Special Police Task Force personal in Jaffna for further investigations .
