A 24 hour long water cut is scheduled

to be implemented in seven areas including Hatton ,ambagamuwa  ,Ginigathhena, Ranjurawa road and Hatton road from 9.a.m tomorrow  (26) unil 9 am on  the following day (27) accordance to National Water Supplies And Drainage Board .

This long hour water cut will be implemented due to the joining of newly laid water pump  and distribution pump systems according to Water Board.

today  (25)ordered the Foreign Ministry Secretary and Sri Lankan Airlines to bring back around 32 Sri Lankan Students stranded at Wuhan City in China due to the lock down of the city as a result of spreading New Corona Virus ,soon as the authorities lifted the travel restrictions  .

The stranded Sri Lankan students in Wuhan had appealed from the authorities  through the Electronic Media to bring them back to Sri LANKA.

As there's no direct flights to Wuhan from Colombo government is planning to send a special. Aircraft  directly to Wuhan as soon as the travel restrictions have lifted according to Presidential Media Unit .
