Two Females A Chinese And A Sri Lankan Had Been Admitted To IDH Hospital, Angoda Suspected As Infected With New Corona Virus

Two females including a Chinese
National  and a Sri Lankan suspected as imfected with New Corona Virus had been admitted to  IDH (Infectious Diseasss Hospital) in Angoda  it has been announced today (25).

The two females a Chinese female tourist and a Sri Lankan female studying in Wuhan Medical Collage in China had been detected as suspected to be infected with New corona virus and admitted to the Hospital according to Hospital sources  .They are currently receiving teatment at  Special Treatment Unit of IDH  Hospital .

The Blood and sputum Samples of the two patients had been sent to Medical Research Institute in Borella for further  tests .

A Sudden Fire Destroyed A Large Tyre Shop In Kelaniya

A large tyre shop located at 04 th Mile
post junction in Kelaniya had been destroyed due to a sudden fire erupted in the  shop last night  (24) it has been reported .

Due to the heavy  smoke released to the air by the fire one lane of Colombo -Kandy road had been temporary closed down from Kelaniya for traffic according to Police.

Fire fighters  have managed to  douse  the fire which spreads in large area .The cause of the fire has not yet been revealed .

been transferred with the approval Of National Police Commission according to the Police Headquarters.

Accordingly 11 Assistant Superintendent's Of Police (ASP),02 Superintendent's Of Police (SP)and a Senior Superintendent Of Police (SSP)had been transferred with immediate effect .

Cabinet Has Approved A Proposal TO Purchase A Paddy Kilo For Rs.50

Cabinet has approved a Cabinet
proposal submitted by Agriculture Minister Chamal Rajapakshe to purchase a Kilo Gramme of Paddy for Rs.50 it has been announced.

Cabinet has also approved a proposal to.purchase wet paddy Kilo for Rs.46 from farmers .

These purchases are due to be made through Paddy Marketing  Board and Government Agents .
