A 12 Hour Water Cut Currently On In Colombo -13,14 And 15

A 12 hour water cut has been

implemented in colombo -13,14 and 15 since 10 p.m today (10) until 10 a.m tomorrow (11) due to an essential  repair work of a pipeline according to the National Water Supplies And Drainage Board .

Dueing the water cut water will be  supplied  to Colombo -11 and Colombo fort under low presssure according to the Board .

Three Persons Received Minor Injuries After A Van Falling Down A Precipice

Three pilgrims  had been  received

minor injuries and admitted to Watawala Provincial Hospital after the Van they were travelling in veering off the road and falling down   a precipice near first mile post at Diyagala area on Norton -Bridge-Sripadha Road this morning (10)whilst returning to Gampola after visiting Sripadha Rock .

The incident occurred as a result of the Van Driver falling a sleep whilst at the wheel .

Two New Directors Appointed To Two Police Divisions

Acting Inspector General of Police

(IGP)Chandana Wikramaratne had appointed two new directors to the Terrorism Control and Investigations Division and Disciplinary Division with the approval of National Police Commission .

Accordingly Acting IGP had appointed The durector of Terrorism control and Investigations Division Senior Supirintendent of Police (SSP) J.P.D Jayasinghe as the director of Disciplinary Division and Assistent Supirintendent of Police (ASP)A.R.Alwis as the director of Terrorism control and investigations Division .
