Two Persons Critically Injured As Their Cab Fallen In To A 20 Ft Deep Precipice In Viyaluwa
Two persons had been critically injured
and four others received minor injuries after the Cab they were travelling in veering off the road and fallen to a 20 feet deep precipice near the first kilo meter post in pitamaruwa -Kalugahakandura main road whilst on the way to view little Worlds End at Viyaluwa ,Pitamaruwa in Badulla District last night (04).
The critically injured persons of the ages 29 and 46 had been admitted to Meegahakiwula District hospital and later transferred to Badulla General Hospital for further treatment .The injured are residents of Katugasthota ,Kandy .
Four other persons imcluding a female had received minor injuries it has been revealed.
The incident occurred as a result of the failure of breaks in the Cab according ro reports .

Ramanayake who had been arrested by the police officers attached to Southern Crimes Division yesterday (04)at his his official residence in Madiwela ,Is scheduled to be produced before Nugegoda Magistrate today (05) according to Police .
MP Ramanayake will be produced before the Magistrate after recording statements from him over the charge against him police have stressed .
The Former Minister Ramanayake who was arrested over not renewing the licence of a pistol goven to him by the government for his personal safety after 2016 and keep in possession live bullets .
