The bodies of four Airforce personal

who had been killed due to the light Aircraft crash at Haputhale yesterday (03)had brought to the Badulla General Hospital last evening for the post mortem .

The Magisterial Inquiry of the deceased had carriedout by the Bandarawela Magistrate Keerthi Kumburuhena yesterday at the Hospital.Governmemt analyst had also inquired on the incident .

ThevBodies of the deceased Airforce personal are due to be handed over to tbeir relatives today (04).

Seven Persons Injured And Hospitalized Due To A Lorry-Bus Collision

Seven persons had been injured some

of them critically and hospitalized due to a Lorry -Bus collision occurred near a quarry at Bathalayaya area on Mahiyanganaya -Dalukana road last evening (03).

The injured including six travelled in the Bus and the Lorry driver had been admitted to the Mahiyanganaya Base Hospital for treatment .

The Bus conductor is among the injured and the Bus driver reported as missing affer the incident.

The incident occurred when the high speed Bus collided with the rear part of the lorry travelling from Mahiyanganaya to Dehiattakandiya area whilst  attempting  to turn from  the junction it had been revealed.

Police had launched a search operation to arrest the dissapeared Bus Driver .

Four Persons Killed Due To Three Wheeler -Tipper Truck-Motorcycle Collision

Four persons had been killed due to a

Three vehicles including a Three wheeler,Motorcycle and a Tipper Truck  colliding with each other near ipilissa bridge on Moronthuduwa -Bandaragama Road last evening (03)

The four  critically injured  persons including three travelled in the Three Wheeler and the Motorcyclist had succumbed tbeir injuries afer being admitted to Gonaduwa and Kalutara Nagoda Hospitals .

Moronthuduwa Police had arrested the Tipper truck driver over the incident .

Government To Increase The Value Of The School Uniform Voucher Implemented By Previous Government

Ministry of Education has decided to

increase the Value of the vouchers providing for the Government School children to purchase uniform cloths by Rs.210 according to Ministry of Education .

Accordingly The value of the Uniform cloth voucher scheduled to be provided shortly has been increased from Rs.525 to Rs.735 Ministry has stated.

Edication Ministry has also decided to print a photograph of a group of school children on the Voucher instead of photographs of Politicians .

Although current government has decided to continue the previous government's programme of  providing Uniform vouchers for school children ,they have criticized whilst in the opposition when the previous government has implemented this programme then .

Several Teachers unions had criticized the present Education Minister over his failure to provide Uniform vouchers for school children before ending the final  term of schools last december.
