Four Airforce Personal Had Been Killed After Their Aircraft Crashed In At Haputale

Four Airforce personal had been killed
after the Y-12 light Aircraft they were flying in had crashed in to an Estate area  at Thambapanni  In Haputhale (Central Province)last morning (03).

The deceased includimg a Group Captain and a Squadron Leader attached to Sri Lanka Airforce were flying   in the Aircraft belonging to Airforce from Weerawila Airbase to Haputhale for an observation mission at the time of the incident.

However in the air the pilot of the light Aircraft  had  lost the control of the flight due to  some reason and as a result it crashed in to the estate area it has been revealed .

A female lives at a house nearby the crash site had been hospitalized due to a shock according to reports .

Airforce had launched an inquiry over tbe incident.

Government To Allocate Rs.120 Billion For Purchasing Drugs For Government Hospitals Next Year

Government has planned to allocate
Rs.120 billion from the annual Budget to purchase Medicinal Drugs to Government Hospitals  next year (2021)accordance to Minister of Health ,Indegenous Medicine and Womens Affairs Pavithra Wanniarachchi.

President Gotabaya Rajapakshe and Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapakshe had advised Health Ministry  to putchase high quality Drugs for reasonable prices for the use of patients in government hospitals Minister has stressed .

Addressing to the Media aftet visiting Maharagama "Apeksha " Hospital yesterday (01)Health Minister has stated that government is investigating to find out whether the patients are  receiving  better treatment and drugs from the Hospitals and whether they are leaving the hospital with satisfaction .
