Government To Allocate Rs.120 Billion For Purchasing Drugs For Government Hospitals Next Year
Government has planned to allocate
Rs.120 billion from the annual Budget to purchase Medicinal Drugs to Government Hospitals next year (2021)accordance to Minister of Health ,Indegenous Medicine and Womens Affairs Pavithra Wanniarachchi.
President Gotabaya Rajapakshe and Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapakshe had advised Health Ministry to putchase high quality Drugs for reasonable prices for the use of patients in government hospitals Minister has stressed .
Addressing to the Media aftet visiting Maharagama "Apeksha " Hospital yesterday (01)Health Minister has stated that government is investigating to find out whether the patients are receiving better treatment and drugs from the Hospitals and whether they are leaving the hospital with satisfaction .

Bandarawela Magistrate Had Ordered To Put Six Children Who Lit Fire To Koslanda Rsserve Under Probation Of Children's Home

Kumburuthanna has today (02)ordered Police to put 06 School children who had found guilty over lighting fire to the Koslanda Diyaluma forest reserve ,under probation of Kappetipola Children's home.
The order was made after the 06 children had been produced before the Bandarawela Magistrate Court today .
The accused School Children who are of the ages 12 to 15 years and residents of Koslandawatta area had been arrested by the Koslanda Police recently over destroying more than 20.acres of land belonging to the Koslanda Reserve by lighting fire to the reserve .
The unruly group of school children had pulled some rocks towards the tourists who arrived to see Diyaluma wster fall according to the Police .
Due to the fire valuable cultivations of the reserve had also destroyed it has been revealed.
