Police Commission Had Transferred 51 Higher Police Officers
National Police Commission had
approved the transfers of 51 Higher Police Officers from Senior Supirintendent of Police to Senior Deputy Inspector General Of Police (DIG) with immediatte effect .
Accordingly Nuwan Wedasimghe has been transferred to the Criminal Investigations Department (CID)as the DIG) in charge of CID the Commission has announced.
Also 11 SSP'S had been promoted to DIG Posts accordance to Police Commission .

A Body Of A Deceased Foreigner Had Recovered From Kalmunai Sea Coast
A body of a 45 year old foreigner had
been recovered from the sea coastal area of Kalmunai in Kaththankudy ,Batticaloa today (28).
The Identity of the deceased foreigner and cause of the death had not yet been revealed.
Thr Body had sent to Batticaloa Teaching Hospital for further investigations .

A Prison.Doctor Checked The Health Status Of Dr.Rajitha Senaratne At Lanka Hospital
A doctor attached to Welikada Prison
Hospital had checked the condition of former Health Minister Dr.Rajitha Senaratne who is in remand custody at Lanka Hospital ,Narahenpita this morning (28) accordance to the instructions of Prisons Commissioner General Jayasiri Tennakoon.
The Prison Hospital Doctor had checked Dr.Senaratne's health status to see the possiblity of transfer him to either Prison Hospital or Colombo National Hospital it has been reported.
The former Health Minister who had been admitted to Lanka Hospital last Thursday (25)night remanded and taken under prison custody over conductiing a press briefing on white van abductions .
