Kawudulla Tank Opens Two Sluice Gates

Two sluice gates of Kawudulla Tank at Polonnaruwa District had been opened  today(22)as the water level of the Tank reached it's spill level due to the heavy showers prevailing in the area according  to Disaster Management Center .

As the Kawudulla Tank releasesloo around 300 square feets of water per second as a result of opening sluice gates ,there's a flood threat occurred in low land areas nearby the Center has stated .

E!xtra Ordinary Gazette Notification Issued To Deploy Tri Forces Had Been Extended

President Gotabaya Rajapakshe has

today (22)issued a special extra ordinary Gazette notification to extend the deploying of tri forces throughout the country  to maintain public security .

Accordingly tri forces Army ,Navy and Airforce  personal are being deployed in all 25 districts to maintain public security .

President Rajapakshe had issued an exrra ordinary gazette notification last month to deploy tri forces to provide security as the state of emergancy was lifted by the former president Maithripala Sirisena .

Kaduwela Urban Council MP Has Made A Complaint To The Police To Implement The Law Against The Youth Collided His Motorcycle With Official Vehicle Of MP Ranawaka

Council MP Boseth Kalahapathirana had today(22)made a complaint  to the Police Headquarters in Colombo requesting to implement the law against sandeepa sampath the youth who has ridden 1000 cc sports motorcycle which collided with the rear part of the official vehicle of Former minister Patali Champika Ranawake at Rajagiriya.

The complainent has argued in his complaint to the police that the victim of the incident Sandeepa sampath has not only ridden a sports Motor cycle illegally in the road but damaged the official vehicle of former Minister Patali Champika Ranawaka .as well.

Therefore He has requested police to enforce the law against sandeepa sampath and recovered the damages on damaging the official vehicle from the victim...

Former Minister Patali Ranawaka was arrsted over the accudent by Colombo Crimes Division last friday and remanded .
