A Motorcyist Was Killed Due To A Motorcycle -Bus Collision

A 36 year old Motorcyclist had been

killed after the Motorcycle he was riding in colliding with a Private Bus at Yakawanguwa area in Hatharaskotuwa ,of Habarana -Trincomalee main road today (15).

The incident occurred when a Private Bus traveling from Trincomalee to Habarana collided with the Motorcycle travelling towards the  same direction .

The deceased was a resident of Aralaganwila area .Police have arrested the Private Bus driver over the incident .

15 Youth Arrested With Narcotics Near Srpadha

Corruption unit of the Hatton Police division had arrested 15 youth of the ages 20-25 whilst on pilgrimage to Sripadha with narcotics in their possession today (15).

The group of youth had been arrested at Diyagala area in Ginigathhena on Hatton -Colombo main road during a search operation with stocks of Ice ,Heroin and Kerala Cannabis in possession it has been revealed .

The suspects are residents of Colombo ,Galle and Matara districts .
