Police Have Recovered A Stock Of Explosives In Norton Bridge Area
Police have recovered a stock of
explosives in a room of a rented house at Norton Bridge today (13).
Among the stock of explosives that were recovered in the rented house are 70 Grammes of Gun powder,02.100 Kilo grammes of Ammonia powder and 21 Deternators .
The house had given to a group of workers involved in reconstruction work of the Maskeliya main road and the owner of the house had seen the stock of explosives during cleaning the house .
Later the house owner had informed it to the police .

A 24 Hour Water Cut To Be Implemented In 13 Divisions In Colombo Tomorrow(14)

continues as A 24 hour long water cut is scheduled to be implemented in 13 Divisions out of 15 Divisions in Colombo District from 8 p.m tomorrow (14)to 8 p.m on Sunday (15) due to a repair work of a Main pipe line which suddenly broke down accordance to National Water Supplies and Drainage Board .
Accordingly this 24 hour water cut will be implemented in Colombo -01,02,03 ,04,07,08,09,10,11,12,13,14 and 15 .
Water will be supplying to Colombo -05 and Colombo -06 areas during the water cut with low preassure the Board has announced .
Long hour water cuts will be caused many sanitation problems and spreading of Epidemics including deadly Dengue according to Epidemeologists .

Two Were Killed Due To A Motorcycle-Bus Collision
Two persons had been killed after the
Motorcycle they were riding in colliding with a Bus travelling from Colombo to Jaffna at Karannai Junction ,Palai ,Kilinochchi this evening (12).
The bodies of the two deceased youth were sent to the Kilinochchi Hospital for the Post Mortem.
The deceased were identified as 25 and 34 year old residents of Palai,Kilinochchi area .
Palai police have arrested the Bus driver over the incident .
