Badulla-passara Road had been closed

down upto Lunugala since 6 p.m last evening due to a collapsing of Soil mounds and rocks to the road the Road Development Authority has announced .
Due to the adverse weather condition prevailing in the area rocks and soil mounds had been collapsed to the road since last wednesday and as a result road had been closed time to time on that day .

Motorists are being advised to use an alternative routes for travelling .

has decided to reduce all Bakery products including Fish Buns and Buns except Bread by Rs.5 as a result of the reduction of Value added Tax(VAT) and removal of Nation Building Tax by the government according to the president of the Association A.r Jayiuawardane.

Even a Kilo of Cake will be reduced by Rs.50 per kilo he has srressed.

All Ceylon Bakey Owners  Association president   has stated that The Bakery industry  has receieved huge benefits due to the tax concession introduced by the Government .
