Heavy Traffic Reported In Surrounding Areas Of Wijerama Road ,Nugegoda Due To A Student Protest

Heavy traffic had prevailed in

surrounding areas of Wijerama Roundabout at Nugegoda this evening (04)as a result of the protest campaign held by a group of students artached to Sri Jayawardanapura University in Nugegoda at the Roundabout demanding to provide solutions for their hostal problems.

One lane of the Wijerama road had been completely blocked as a result of the protest it has been reported .

NBRO Issued Landslide Warnings To Four Districts

National Building Research

Organization (NBRO) had issued landslide warnings to four districts Due to the heavy showers prevailing in those areas at present .

Accordingly Landslide warnings have been issued to   Ratnapura     pura,Kandy,Badulla and Nuwara Eliya districts and people living in mountanous and slope areas at those districts are being advised to be vigilant over possible landslides.
