President Gotabaya Rajapakshe To Visit India Today (28)
President Gotabaya Rajapakshe is due
to leave India today(28)for a two day official tour accordance to a special invitation of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Singh Modi .
During the visit the first after being elected as Sri Lankan President ,President Rajapskshe is due to meet Indian Premier Modi,President Ram kanth Kovind and several higher politicians of the Indian government and hold bi lareral talks .
President Rajapakshe will be accompanied by a ten member delegation including Presidential Secretary Dr.P.B Jayasundara ,Treassury Secretary Dr.S.Atygala ,Defense Secretary Kamal Gunaratne and Presidential Advisor Lalith Weerathinge for the visit.

President Has Instructed Ministries And Affliated Offices To Cut Down Unnecessary Expenditure
President Gotabaya Rajapakshe has
today (27)instructed all the Ministries and affliated offices to cut down unnecessary expenditure spending for vehicles ,Tours,Building facilities,functions etc to save government funds as Several taxes imposed on goods and services scheduled to be reduced soon .
President has instructed on this whilst submitting a Cabinet paper to the First Cabinet meeting of inrerim government held at President's office today (27).
All Governmemt offices should spend public funds carefully as it takes sometime to prepare government income sources President has stressed.

today (27)appointed 20 Secretaries to 20 Ministries according to government sources.
Among appointed Ministry secretaries there are corrupted officials as well as good officials sources have stressed .
Most prominent appointment was the appointment of Mrs.P.S.M Charles as the new secretary of the Ministry Of Health and Indeginous Medicine.She was formerly attached to the customs department .
