A 43 year old person had been killed

due to a wild elephant attack at Buduruwayaya area in Bakamuna ,Polonnaruwa this morning (24)..

The incident occurred when the Deceased had attempted to chase away the Wild Elephant arrived in his garden along with the residents of the area .

to two private  companies handling cleaning work in Colombo to begin cleaning the city at 5.30 a.m daily and maintain the cleanliness round the clock daily from tomorrow (25)under the orders of President Gotabaya RaJapakshe .

Police Enviornment divison had called all the managers of the two private companies handling cleaning work in Colombo  for a meeting to discuss the plan of commencing cleaning work under the new plan .

Meanwhile all enviornmental Units of police stations to  be reconstructed it has been announced.  Police Enviornmental Division has decided to inspect the areas where
emviornmental  damage has been done
