the Seventh President of Sri Lanka ut has been announced yesterday (18).

A Seven Year Old Girl Had been killed Due To A Motorcycle -Wild Elephant Collision
A seven year old girl had been killed
and her father was hospitalized with minor injuries after the Motorcycle they were riding in colliding with a Wild Elephant who was crossing the road at the junction turning to Maduru oya reservoir on Mahaoya -Aralaganwila road yesterday(18).
The critically injured girl had succumbed to her injuries after admission to Mahaoya Hospital .
The incident occurred when the father ,mother and their two children were riding the Motorcycle it has been revealed .The deceased girl was a resident of Uhana,gonagolla ,Horagolla area .

A Person Was Killed And Three Others Injured Due To Car Accident
A 48 year old person had been killed
and three others had been critically injured and hospitalized after a Motor Car they were travelling in had toppled over to a 300 feet deep precipice at Badulla -Walpola road yesterday(17).
The incident occurred when the victims were on the way home after celebrating election victory of their candidate it has been revealed .
The deceased was a resident of Ilukthanna area ,Walpola attached to a SLTB Deport in Badulla as a driver.

A Kenyan Female Arrested With A Stock Of Cocaine
Airport customs officers have arrested
a 34 year old Kenyan female with a stock of Cocaine in possession at the arrival lounge in Katunayake ,Bandaranaike International Airport last evening (17).
The stock of cocaine had been hidden in her luggage it has been revealed.
As it has been revealed that the suspected Kenyan female who had arrived from Doha,Qatar had swallowed Cocaine pills ,Airport customs officers admitted her to the Negambo Base Hospital to remove them from her stomach .
Later Police had obtained a week long detention order to question her on the incident .The suspected female had been handed over to the Police Anti Narcotic Bureau for further investigations .
