Tamil.National Alliance To Support Sajith Premadasa In The Forthcoming Presidential Election

All parties belonging to the
Tamil.National Alliance (TNA)have today (07)decided to support Presidential Candidate of the New Democratic Front Minister Sajith Premadasa in the forthcoming Presidential Electtion .

According to the  TNA the Alliance are supporting a leader with four qualities namely a Person who is truely committed for Democracy , against dictatorship and Authority ,A one who  apears behalf of Fundamentals rights  and Human rights,One who   respects Democracy and Equality under a unitary ,undivided state. And who is willing to give independce to Institutions including the constitution ,Executive and Judiciary .

Ududumbara Kashyapa Thero Ended His Fast To Death Campaign

Venerable Ududumbara Kashyapa
Thero who began a fast to death campaign in Colombo last morning (05)against signing Millenium Corporation Agreement with USA has ended his campaign this morning (06)after two presidential Candidates Minister Sajith Premadasa and Gotabaya Rajapakshe had promised him through letters that no action will be taken that harmful to the country .

Minister Premadase has urged through a letter sent to Kashyapa Thero that the Millenium Corporation Agreement will not be signed before Presidential Election and it could be done after the elections with parliamentary approval .

Candidate Gotabaya Rajapakshe has also.sent a letter to Kashyapa Thero and prmised  he will abolish any agreement
