Policy Statement Of SLPP Candidate Gotabaya Rajapakshe Has Been Launched Last Friday (25)

The policy statement of presidential

candidate of the Sri Lanka Podu Jana Peramuna (SLPP) Gotabaya Rajapakshe for the forthcoming Presidential Election has been launched at a ceremony held in Nelum pokuna Theater last Friday  (25)morning .

Based on Ten principles, Few of the key proposals including in the Policy statement are Keeping Sri Lanka as a unitary state by Not dividing the country ,Not allowing foreign interventions that affect sovereignty of the state ,freeing the country from Terrorism ,ransoms ,underworld threats ,robberies and narcotics ,Reduce the VAT tax up to 8 percent and ,introducing simple tax system for vehicles .

National Peoples Force (Jathika Jana Balawegaya )Anura Kumara Dissanayake has today (26)launched his policy statement for the forthcoming Presidential Election titled "The way to build the country with Anura ",At Sri Lanka Foundation Institute-in

Few of the Major propoosals in the policy statement of Anura Kumara Dissanayake includes cutting down the Rs.20 million daily  expenditure of the Executive presidency  by 90 percent ,Abolishing of the Pension scheme of Parliamentariens who had completed fice years and recover the stolen public money from the Politicians to provide concessions for the  public .

Under his government public funds will not be utilized to grant privilages to former presidents and their wives Anura Kumara has stated

Seven Farmers Injured Due To A Wasp Attack

Seven farmers had been injured and

hospitalized due to a wasp attack whilst ploughing in a paddy field at Sudanthipuram in Pudukudiirippu ,Mulathivu today (26).

The injured farmers had been admitted to the Pudukudiirippu Hospital for treatment .

The incident occurred when the tractor used to plough the paddy field had  collided with a  wasp nest in the field .
